Biography
Katie McNicol is a producer at Marc Platt Productions. She began her career there as creative assistant to Marc Platt, working on films including La La Land (2016), The Girl on the Train (2016), Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk (2016), Hotel Artemis (2018), Mary Poppins Returns (2018) and Aladdin (2019).
She has since produced Girls Like Girls (2026), directed by Hayley Kiyoko for Focus Features, and Basic (2026). McNicol graduated from Harvard University, where she studied English and Film Studies. Prior to joining Marc Platt Productions she worked at Robert Zemeckis’s production company and at The Gersh Agency.
