Biography
Katsuya, born Hideto Katsuya on 8 May 1975 in Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan, is a Japanese actor and voice actor. He is represented by LDH and has also been credited as Katsuya Takagi and 勝矢 秀人.
He is known for roles including Toshio in the series Giri/Haji (2019), Tatsuuma Ushiyama in Golden Kamuy (2024) and its spin-off series, Marukusu in Thermae Romae (2012) and its sequel, and Hirokazu Nishi in Ashita no Joe (2011). Other credits include Bad City (2023), The Blood of Wolves (2018) and Twisted Justice (2016).
In September 2024 he married Suzuho Makaze, a former Takarazuka Revue actress.
