Biography
Kayleigh Llewellyn is a Welsh writer and creator of the BBC Three series In My Skin (2018–2021), a coming-of-age drama drawing on her own experiences growing up in Cardiff with a mother who has bipolar disorder. She wrote all episodes across the two series and served as executive producer.
She wrote three episodes of the final series of Killing Eve (2022) and also worked as a consulting producer on the show. Other credits include an episode of the BBC series Chloe (2022) and earlier work on Casualty and Stella.
Llewellyn was named a BAFTA Breakthrough Brit in 2019. In My Skin received BAFTA Cymru awards for Best Writer and Best Drama, as well as an RTS award for Best Drama Series.
