Biography
Kazuo Miyake is a Japanese anime director and episode director. He has worked on numerous television series and films, primarily in episode direction, storyboarding and unit direction roles.
His credits include episode direction on Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion (2006), Gintama (2006) and Attack on Titan (2022). He served as series director on Battle Girl High School (2017) and directed episodes of Super Crooks (2021) and Lazarus (2025). Additional work encompasses storyboarding and assistant direction on titles such as Love Live! School Idol Project (2013) and Stars Align (2019).
