Biography
Kazuo Satsuya was a Japanese production designer and art director. He was born in Tokyo on 20 July 1935 and died on 6 January 1993.
Satsuya worked on numerous Japanese films from the 1960s to the early 1990s. His production design credits include Lady Snowblood (1973), Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla (1974), Evil of Dracula (1974), House (1977), The War in Space (1977) and His Motorbike, Her Island (1986). He also served as assistant director on House and appeared in small acting roles in several of his films, including House and Beijing Watermelon (1989).
