Biography
Kazuya Aoyama, also credited as Aoyama Kazuya and whose real name is Mototsugu Takeda, is a Japanese former actor and singer. He was born on 28 November 1951 in Ōta, Tokyo.
Aoyama began his career in music as a member of the rock band Green Grass and made his acting debut in the 1971 television series Century of the Emperor. He appeared in the 1973 tokusatsu series Zone Fighter as Hikaru Sakimori and in the 1974 film Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla as Masahiko Shimizu. His final acting role was in the 1975 film Tôkyô-wan enjô (also known as Conflagration). He retired from acting in 1976.
Aoyama later joined the family seaweed wholesaling business Kawamoriya, Inc., and became its president and CEO in 1989.
