Biography
Keiichi Sugiyama is a Japanese animation director born on 1 January 1965. He served as episode director on Neon Genesis Evangelion (1995), handling episodes 5 and 7, and contributed storyboards to episode 7.
Sugiyama directed the feature film Origin: Spirits of the Past (2006) and episodes of series including Saber Marionette J (1996), Najica Blitz Tactics (2001), The Twelve Kingdoms (2002) and Dinosaur King (2007–2008). He also co-directed a segment of Halo Legends (2010) and worked on compilation films such as Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death and Rebirth (1997) and Revival of Evangelion (1998). He has provided storyboards and direction for many other anime productions.
