Biography

Keith Partridge is a British cinematographer specialising in adventure and extreme-location filming. He trained and worked as a cameraman at the BBC in Newcastle before leaving staff employment in the early 1990s to pursue independent work combining mountaineering and cinematography.

Partridge provided cinematography for the 2003 documentary film Touching the Void, directed by Kevin Macdonald. His other credits include episodes of the BBC series Human Planet (2011), for which he received an International Emmy, and films such as Bonington: Mountaineer (2017), which he also directed. He has worked on dozens of climbing and exploration documentaries shot in remote locations worldwide.
