Biography
Keith Walker, also credited as Keith A. Walker, was an American writer, producer and actor. Born on 29 June 1935 in Highland Springs, Virginia, he died on 30 December 1996 in Franklin, Tennessee.
He wrote for television series including MASH (1973), Emergency! (1975), The Fall Guy (1984) and Quincy, M.E. He co-wrote the screenplay for the film Free Willy (1993) and created the story on which the sequels were based. As an actor, he appeared in guest roles on series such as Mannix, The A-Team and Fantasy Island, and played Mr. Walsh in The Goonies* (1985).
Walker was married to actress Peggy Walton-Walker. Free Willy 3: The Rescue (1997) was dedicated to his memory.
