Biography
Kelly Turnbull is a Canadian animation director and writer, also known as comic artist Coelasquid. They earned a Bachelor of Animation at Sheridan College and began working in television animation around 2008, with early credits on series such as Ugly Americans.
Turnbull has directed episodes of the King of the Hill revival series (2025–2026), including the premiere episode “Return of the King”, and three episodes of Little Demon (2022). Writing credits include additional writing on Ben 10 (2016–2021) and the teleplay for Ben 10 vs. the Universe: The Movie (2020). They have also worked as a storyboard artist on Ben 10, Solar Opposites and Star Trek: Lower Decks.
