Biography
Ken Swofford (born Kenneth Charles Swofford) was an American film and television actor. Born on 25 July 1933 in Du Quoin, Illinois, he died on 1 November 2018 in Pacific Grove, California. He graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 1959 with a Bachelor of Science degree in theatre.
Swofford appeared in films including The Andromeda Strain (1971), Annie (1982) and Thelma & Louise (1991), in which he played the Major. His television work included recurring roles such as Quentin Morloch in Fame, Lt. Catalano in Murder, She Wrote and a cast member role in Ellery Queen. He was married to Barbee Biggs from 1958 until his death.
