Biography
Kenna Harris (also credited as McKenna Harris and McKenna Jean Harris) is an American filmmaker and storyboard artist. They graduated from CalArts and began their career as a character designer on the Cartoon Network series We Bare Bears (2015–16).
Harris joined Walt Disney Animation Studios in 2016 as a storyboard artist, contributing to Ralph Breaks the Internet (2018), Frozen II (2019) and Raya and the Last Dragon (2021). They moved to Pixar Animation Studios in 2021, serving as a story artist on Luca (2021) before directing and writing the short film Ciao Alberto (2021). They later worked as associate executive producer on Elemental (2023) and story supervisor on Inside Out 2 (2024).
In 2024, Harris was announced as co-director (with Andrew Stanton) and co-writer of the feature film Toy Story 5 (2026). They have received Emmy nominations for Ciao Alberto and an Astra Midseason Movie Awards nomination for the screenplay of Toy Story 5.
