Biography
Kenneth Peach (also credited as Kenneth D. Peach Sr.) was an American cinematographer. He entered the film industry in 1923 and became a director of photography in 1926. Early in his career he worked in special effects before joining Hal Roach Studios in 1933, where he shot several Laurel and Hardy films including Sons of the Desert (1933).
In later decades Peach worked extensively in both film and television. His credits include The Outer Limits (1963–1965, 25 episodes), The Incredible Journey (1963) and It! The Terror from Beyond Space (1958). He served as director of photography on the series Taxi (1978) for 59 episodes between 1980 and 1983, and retired in 1984.
Peach was married to actress Pauline Curley from 1922 until his death. Their son Kenneth Peach Jr. also worked as a cinematographer.
