Biography
Kenny Chin is an actor. Born on 5 April 1951 in Hong Kong, he began studying martial arts at the age of 12 and appeared in Hong Kong films in the 1960s after being discovered by a casting agent while at school. He later moved to New York City with his family.
After a career in computing as a programmer and analyst, during which he also taught Kung Fu, Chin returned to acting. His first paid acting role was a background part in the 2005 film The Interpreter. He has since appeared in films including Mancation (2012) and Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) (2014), in which he played the Korean Grocer. On television he has had roles in the web series The Fever (2015–2017) and Evil (2019), as well as other credits such as Chapter & Verse (2016) and We Are Living Things (2021). He is a member of SAG-AFTRA.
