Biography
Kenta Fukasaku is a Japanese film director and screenwriter. Born on 15 September 1972 in Tokyo, he is the son of director Kinji Fukasaku and actress Sanae Nakahara. He graduated from Seijo University.
Fukasaku wrote the screenplay for Battle Royale (2000), directed by his father. Following Kinji Fukasaku's death during production of the sequel, he completed Battle Royale II: Requiem (2003) as director and screenwriter. His other directorial credits include Under the Same Moon (2005), Yo-Yo Girl Cop (2006) and X-Cross (2007).
