Biography
Kentaro Hirase is a Japanese film director and screenwriter. He co-wrote the screenplay for the 2025 mystery horror film Exit 8, directed by Genki Kawamura and adapted from the video game by Kotake Create. He also served as assistant director on the production.
Hirase has directed several features and shorts, including Miyamatsu to Yamashita (2022) and Sai: Juchang ban (2025). He has written screenplays for other projects such as A Hundred Flowers (2022) and edited multiple films.
