Biography
Kenton Allen is a British television producer and executive. He is chief executive of Big Talk Studios, which he has led since 2008, overseeing its growth and sale to ITV Studios in 2013. He began his career in radio before working on Jonathan Ross's Channel 4 chat show and later at Granada Television in Manchester.
Allen produced series of The Royle Family (1998–2000) and has credits on numerous comedy and drama series, including Friday Night Dinner (2011–2018), Him & Her (2010–2012), Rev. and Mum. His film work includes Martin McDonagh's Six Shooter (2004). He holds multiple BAFTA awards for situation comedy and received the Royal Television Society Fellowship in 2019.
He is married to writer Imogen Edwards-Jones.
