Biography
Keto Shimizu is an American television writer, producer and comic book writer. She graduated from Emerson College in Boston and began her career writing and directing short films, including Razor Man (2006). After completing NBC's Writers on the Verge programme, she worked as a staff writer on the series The Cape (2011).
Shimizu joined the writing staff of the Syfy adaptation of Being Human (2011) as a story editor and wrote three episodes. She later contributed to The CW's Arrowverse, writing for Arrow (2012) and The Flash (2014), and serving as co-showrunner and executive producer on DC's Legends of Tomorrow (2016). Her other credits include Vixen (2015) and the 2025 series The Hunting Party.
