Biography
Kevin Anderson is an American stage and film actor. Born on 13 January 1960 in Gurnee, Illinois, he trained at the Goodman School of Drama at DePaul University in Chicago and joined the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in 1983.
His film roles include Chuck in Risky Business (1983), Ben Woodward in Sleeping with the Enemy (1991), Robert F. Kennedy in Hoffa (1992), Bob Richmond in Rising Sun (1993), Peter Lewis in A Thousand Acres (1997) and Mr. Arable in Charlotte's Web (2006). On television he played Father Ray in the series Nothing Sacred (1997), for which he received a Golden Globe nomination.
In theatre Anderson originated the role of Phillip in Orphans, winning a Joseph Jefferson Award and a Theatre World Award. He received a Drama Desk Award and a Tony Award nomination for the 1999 revival of Death of a Salesman.
