Biography
Kevin Hanchard is a Canadian actor known for his work in television, film and theatre. He trained at the University of Windsor, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, and began his career with stage performances at the Stratford Festival and the Shaw Festival.
Hanchard is best known for portraying Detective Arthur 'Art' Bell in the series Orphan Black (2013–2017) and Inspector Sematimba in The Expanse (2015–2017). He has also appeared as Superintendent Joseph Donovan in Hudson & Rex (2019–present) and in films including Four Brothers (2005) and Suicide Squad (2016). He received a Canadian Screen Award for his performance in Orphan Black and has earned multiple Dora Mavor Moore Award nominations for his stage work.
