Biography
Kevin Sampson is a British novelist, screenwriter and film producer. He began his career writing gig reviews for NME in the 1980s and later contributed to publications including The Face, i-D and Time Out. He worked in television at Channel 4 before establishing Kinesis Films and co-founding Produce Records with The Farm.
Sampson is best known for his novels Awaydays (1998), which was adapted into a film in 2009, Powder (1999) and Stars Are Stars (2006). His screenwriting credits include the ITV dramas Anne (2022) and The Hunt for Raoul Moat (2023). He produces films through White Star Productions, including Giant (2026).
