Biography
Kevin Wade is an American screenwriter and television producer. Born in Chappaqua, New York, he graduated from Connecticut College. He wrote the play Key Exchange, which was produced off-Broadway in 1981.
Wade received his first screen credit for the screenplay of Working Girl (1988), for which he was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Screenplay and a Writers Guild of America Award for Best Original Screenplay. His other film credits include True Colors (1991), Mr. Baseball (1992), Junior (1994), Meet Joe Black (1998) and Maid in Manhattan (2002). On television he created and executive produced the series Cashmere Mafia (2008) and served as showrunner and executive producer on Blue Bloods (2010–).
He has also written for the stage and received an Edgar Award nomination for an episode of Blue Bloods.
