Biography

Kewpie Morgan (born Horace Allen Morgan) was an American actor known for his work in silent films and early sound productions. He appeared in approximately 99 films between 1915 and 1936, often in supporting or uncredited roles in comedies.

Born in Anna, Texas, Morgan attended Baylor University and initially worked as an electrician at a film studio before transitioning to acting. His screen debut came around 1913 during a location shoot in Texas. He later moved to Los Angeles and worked for studios including Mack Sennett's company, as well as Fox and Vitaphone.

Morgan appeared in several Buster Keaton films, including Three Ages (1923) and Sherlock Jr. (1924), where he played a conspirator (uncredited). Other credits include Beggars of Life (1928) and Babes in Toyland (1934). He also featured in compilations of silent comedy footage released in the 1950s and 1960s.
