Biography
Keyla Monterroso Mejia is an American actress and comedian. She was born on 26 February 1998 in Hawthorne, California.
She made her professional acting debut in 2021 in the Disney+ short film Growing Fangs (part of the Launchpad anthology) and the short The 90 Day Plan. She gained wider recognition for her recurring role as Maria Sofia Estrada in the HBO series Curb Your Enthusiasm (2021–2024). Other television credits include Abbott Elementary (2022–2026) as Ashley, Freeridge (2023) as Gloria, Acapulco as Dulce, Running Point (2025) as Ana Moreno, and The Studio (2025–present) as Petra. Film roles include The Estate (2022), Suncoast (2024), One of Them Days (2025) and You're Cordially Invited (2025).
