Biography
Kim Clements is a Canadian-born American television writer and producer. Born in Montreal and raised in Ontario, she worked as a copywriter in advertising for agencies in Toronto before moving into scriptwriting.
She joined the writing staff of The Shield for its second season in 2003 as a staff writer and served as story editor for the third season, contributing to episodes including 'Greenlit' and 'Inferno'. She subsequently worked as executive story editor on the first season of Lost, for which the writing team received a Writers Guild of America Award for Best Dramatic Series in 2006.
Clements has written for and produced episodes of series including The Black Donnellys, Wanted, Shark, Bones, CSI: NY, Tell Me a Story and neXt. She also wrote and executive produced the 1999 short film Blind.
