Biography
Kim Delaney is an American actress. She is known for playing Detective Diane Russell on the television series NYPD Blue (1995–2003), a role that earned her a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.
Delaney began her career in daytime television as Jenny Gardner on All My Children. She later appeared as Alex Devlin on Tour of Duty (1987–1989) and had leading roles in Philly, the first season of CSI: Miami (2002), and the first six seasons of Army Wives. Other credits include The O.C. and Chicago Fire.
She trained at the William Esper Studio in New York.
