Biography
Kim Henkel is an American screenwriter, director, producer and actor. He was born on 19 January 1946 in Virginia and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1969.
Henkel co-wrote the story and screenplay for The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974) with Tobe Hooper. He later wrote and directed the sequel Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation (1995). He also wrote and co-produced Last Night at the Alamo (1983) and provided the adaptation for Eaten Alive (1977).
Henkel has lectured in screenwriting at Rice University.
