Biography
Kim Jong-goo is a South Korean actor. He graduated from the Department of Theatre and Film at Chung-Ang University and later earned a master's degree and a doctorate in theatre from the same institution. He was a regular member of the National Theatre Company of Korea from 1982 to 2011.
He is known for supporting roles in films including Poetry (2010) as Park Sang-tae, Confession of Murder (2012) as the Snake Hunter, Pandora (2016) as the Nuclear Safety Committee Chairman, EXIT (2019) as Second Uncle, and Nameless Gangster (2012) as Chief Cho. His television credits include Assemblyman Park in King the Land (2023) and Seok Hyun-Je in Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth (2016).
