Biography

Kip Koenig is an American screenwriter, producer and director. He wrote the screenplay for the 1996 comedy film Bio-Dome and directed the 1998 feature How to Make the Cruelest Month.

Koenig wrote three episodes of the medical drama series Grey's Anatomy (2005–2006) and served as supervising producer on 59 episodes and consulting producer on further episodes between 2005 and 2007. He received Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Drama Series in 2006 and 2007 for his work on the series.

His other credits include writing and producing on the series Still Life (2003), Septuplets (2002) and The American Embassy (2002), and writing an episode of Wasteland (1999).
