Biography
Kira Davis is an American film producer. A native of Santa Fe, New Mexico, she studied theatre with an emphasis in directing at New Mexico State University, graduating magna cum laude.
She joined Alcon Entertainment in 1998, rising to vice president of production and marketing. Davis left the company in 2006 to establish her own production company, 8:38 Productions, which entered a first-look deal with Alcon. Her credits include co-producer on The Affair of the Necklace (2001), Love Don't Cost a Thing (2003), Chasing Liberty (2004) and Racing Stripes (2005); executive producer on The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (2005); producer on The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 (2008); and producer on Prisoners (2013).
She is married to Andrew A. Kosove, co-founder of Alcon Entertainment, and they have two children.
