Biography
Kirk Taylor is an American actor, acting teacher and musician. Raised in Bridgeport, Connecticut, he graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in drama and a minor in music.
He is known for his role as Payback in Stanley Kubrick's Full Metal Jacket (1987). Other film credits include Death Wish 3 (1985), The Last Dragon (1985), School Daze (1988), The Bonfire of the Vanities (1990) and The Sum of All Fears (2002). Television appearances include episodes of Law & Order, NCIS: Los Angeles (2011) and The Chosen (2019–2025).
Taylor has also performed in stage productions, including the Broadway tour of Five Guys Named Moe.
