Biography
Kirsty Child is an Australian actress. She trained at the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Sydney, graduating in 1963. Her film credits include Country Town (1971) and the role of Miss Dora Lumley in Picnic at Hanging Rock (1975).
On television she appeared in multiple roles in the series Prisoner between 1979 and 1986, as Anne Yates, Glynis Johnson and Willie Beecham. She played Carmel Tyler in the soap opera Neighbours in 2002 and again from 2012 to 2013. Child is the widow of actor Peter Adams, who died in 1999.
