Biography
Kirt Gunn is a writer, producer and director. He co-wrote the screenplay for the 2025 film Roofman with Derek Cianfrance. He also wrote, directed and produced the 2007 feature Lovely by Surprise.
Gunn has collaborated extensively with Cianfrance, serving as executive producer on the 2019 film Sound of Metal. His earlier credits include writing and directing the 2004 short Meet the Lucky Ones.
