Biography

Kirti Kolwankar is an Indian costume designer. Born in Chiplun, Maharashtra, she studied fashion technology at the J. D. Institute in Mumbai. She began her career as an assistant to Farzine Khambatta and later worked with Hollywood designer Lorraine Kinman on the Indian crew for Cheetah Girls. She has held positions at Phantom Films and Jar Pictures.

Kolwankar has designed costumes for numerous Bollywood films and web series. Her credits include Drishyam (2015), Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017), Badhaai Ho (2018), Mission Mangal (2019), Paatal Lok (2020) and Maidaan (2024). She received a Filmfare Award nomination for Best Costume Design for Maidaan.

She has more than 15 years of experience in the Indian entertainment industry and has worked on over 30 projects, including films, series and commercials.
