Biography
Kiyoshi Fukumoto is a Japanese anime director and episode director. Born on 8 May 1958 in Kishiwada, Osaka, he began working in animation in the late 1980s and has contributed to dozens of television series and films.
He directed four episodes of the 2013 series Attack on Titan. Fukumoto has also served as episode director or series director on InuYasha (2000–2004), B't X (1996), Bakuman (2010), Guilty Crown (2011), Himouto! Umaru-chan (2015) and NARUTO Spin-Off: Rock Lee & His Ninja Pals (2012), and worked as a storyboard artist and assistant director on titles including Cowboy Bebop: The Movie (2001) and Pokémon (1997).
