Biography
Klaus Bondam is a Danish actor. He was born on 19 November 1963 in Aakirkeby, Bornholm. He trained at the Odense Theatre drama school from 1988 to 1992 and began working in theatre in 1988.
Bondam’s breakthrough came with the role of the toastmaster in Thomas Vinterberg’s The Celebration (1998). He appeared as a priest in Mifune (1999) and The One and Only (1999), and as the priest in Shake It All About (2001), for which he also co-wrote the screenplay. He played Niels Buckingham in the television series Langt fra Las Vegas (2001–2003).
Alongside acting, Bondam managed Grønnegårds Teatret (1996–2003) and Folketeatret (2003–2005), and served as administrative manager of Mungo Park theatre (1995–1996).
