Biography
Koba Hayashi, also credited as 小林郁夫 (Ikuo Kobayashi), was a Japanese actor and composer. He was born on 27 July 1935 in Tokyo and died on 11 January 2016.
Hayashi voiced the River Spirit (Kawa no Kami) in Hayao Miyazaki's Spirited Away (2001). He appeared as an actor in films including Tôkyô yakyoku (1997) and Nankai no noroshi (1960). As a composer, he contributed to anime television series such as Tondemo Senshi Muteking (1980–1981) and Ippatsu Kanta-kun (1977–1978).
