Biography
Konstantin Feldman was a Russian actor, revolutionary, playwright and film organiser. In 1905 he took part in the mutiny aboard the battleship Potemkin as a delegate from Odessa and later appeared as the Student Agitator in Sergei Eisenstein’s film Battleship Potemkin (1925).
He worked in Soviet film production in the 1920s, including roles at Proletkino and as editor at the Odessa film studio, and later as a theatre critic and literary manager at the Theatre of the Revolution. Feldman wrote memoirs of the Potemkin events and died in Moscow in 1968.
