Biography
Koyu Rankin is a Canadian actor born in 2007 in Vancouver. He is the son of a Scottish-Canadian father and a Japanese mother, and is bilingual in English and Japanese.
His first credited role was voicing Atari Kobayashi in Wes Anderson's stop-motion film Isle of Dogs (2018), which opened the 68th Berlin International Film Festival. He has since appeared as Randall in an episode of DC's Legends of Tomorrow (2018) and as Ghost Boy in Dead Boy Detectives (2024).
Rankin has also acted in short films including Juken (2017) and appeared in commercials.
