Biography
Kristin Burr is an American film producer. She joined Walt Disney Pictures in 1997 as a creative executive and later became Executive Vice President of Production. During her two decades at the studio she oversaw the development of films including Sweet Home Alabama (2002), The Proposal (2009), The Prestige (2006), Bringing Down the House (2003), The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (2004) and the original Freaky Friday (2003).
In 2017 Burr left Disney to establish her own company, Burr! Productions, which holds a first-look deal with Lionsgate. Her producing credits include Christopher Robin (2018), Dora and the Lost City of Gold (2019), Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey (2020), Cruella (2021), The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent (2022) and Freakier Friday (2025).
