Biography
Kristin Griffith is an American actress born on 7 September 1953 in Odessa, Texas. She trained at the Juilliard School and began her professional career in theatre, appearing in Broadway productions including A Texas Trilogy in 1976.
Griffith made her screen debut in Woody Allen's Interiors (1978) and appeared in James Ivory's The Europeans (1979). She played Mrs. McShane in Steven Soderbergh's King of the Hill (1993). Her later film roles include Cold in July (2014), Ben Is Back (2018), The Devil All the Time (2020) and Things Heard & Seen (2021).
On television she has appeared in multiple episodes of Law & Order and its spin-offs, as well as Succession, The Deuce, Blue Bloods and Archive 81. She is married to actor and playwright Peter Maloney.
