Biography
Kristin Rudrüd is an American actress. Born on 23 May 1955 in Fargo, North Dakota, she grew up in Moorhead, Minnesota. She attended Minnesota State University Moorhead, studied acting in London, and later worked in New York theatre, appearing in a production of Amadeus and a public reading of Othello with Al Pacino.
After returning to Fargo she began her film career. She played Jean Lundegaard in the Coen brothers' Fargo (1996). Other screen credits include Pleasantville (1998), Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999), the short film Wheels Locked, and television appearances in Chicago Hope and All My Children.
In 2023 Rudrüd appeared photographically as Jean Lundegaard in an episode of the Fargo television series.
