Biography
Kristina Adolphson is a Swedish actress. Born in Stockholm in 1937, she is the daughter of actor Edvin Adolphson. She trained at Gösta Terserus teaterskola and the Royal Dramatic Theatre's acting school (Dramatens elevskola) before joining Dramaten in 1958.
Adolphson has appeared in several Ingmar Bergman productions, including Brink of Life (1958), The Devil's Eye (1960), Face to Face (1976) and Fanny and Alexander (1982), in which she played Siri. She is noted for her stage work as a Strindberg interpreter and for her role as Katarina in the television series Lära för livet (1977). She received the Litteris et Artibus award in 1997. She was married to actor Erland Josephson from 1959 to 1989.
