Biography
Kristopher Kimlin is a Canadian-American cinematographer. He is credited as director of photography on the 2026 films Young Washington and Run Hide Fight: Infidels, and on the series The Pendragon Cycle: Rise of the Merlin.
Kimlin studied photography at college in New York before moving into cinematography. His first feature as cinematographer was the independent film October Baby (2011), beginning a long collaboration with directors Jon and Andrew Erwin. He has worked as director of photography on films including I Can Only Imagine (2018), I Still Believe (2020), American Underdog (2021), The Hill (2023) and The Unbreakable Boy (2025).
He has also shot numerous commercials and music videos. Kimlin is married to makeup artist Jennifer Kimlin.
