Biography
Ksenia Solo is a Latvian-Canadian actress. She was born on 8 October 1987 in Riga and moved with her family to Toronto at the age of five. She trained in ballet until a back injury at 14 ended her dancing career; her mother is a former ballerina who became an actress.
Solo began acting in Canadian television, playing Zoey Jones in the series renegadepress.com and winning Gemini Awards for Best Performance in a Children's or Youth Program or Series in both 2005 and 2006. She is known for her role as Mackenzie "Kenzi" Malikov in Lost Girl (2010–2015), Peggy Shippen in TURN: Washington's Spies (2014–2017), Shay Davydov in Orphan Black (2015), and Susie Miller in Project Blue Book (2019–2020). In film, she appeared as Veronica in Darren Aronofsky's Black Swan (2010).
