Biography
Kurt Albrecht is a producer at Sony Pictures Animation. He produced the 2021 animated feature The Mitchells vs. the Machines.
He previously held the role of vice president of physical production at Sony Pictures Animation and at Paramount Animation. His other credits include producing The Smurfs: A Christmas Carol (2011) and Disney Princess Enchanted Tales: Follow Your Dreams (2007). He began his career at Hyperion Studio, where he produced or oversaw seven feature films and six television series.
A native of Seattle, Washington, Albrecht is married to editor Mary Blee.
