Biography
Kurt Raab was a German actor and production designer. Born on 20 July 1941 in Bergreichenstein, Sudetenland (now Kašperské Hory, Czech Republic), he died on 28 June 1988 in Hamburg.
He collaborated extensively with director Rainer Werner Fassbinder, appearing in numerous films including Why Does Herr R. Run Amok? (1970), The Merchant of Four Seasons (1972), Ali: Fear Eats the Soul (1974) and Fox and His Friends (1975), in which he played Wodka-Peter. He also served as production designer on The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant (1972) and Fox and His Friends (1975). Raab worked as an actor, screenwriter and production designer on more than 70 films and television productions.
