Biography
Kyle Jarrow is an American writer and musician. Born on 7 October 1979 in Ithaca, New York, he graduated from Yale University and began his career in theatre.
His early work includes the satirical musical A Very Merry Unauthorized Children's Scientology Pageant (2004), for which he won an Obie Award. He wrote the book for the Broadway musical The SpongeBob Musical (2017), receiving Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Award nominations. In television he created and executive-produced the series Valor (2017).
Jarrow's film credits include Armless (2010) and co-writing the screenplay for Purple Hearts (2022). He has also written episodes of Star Trek: Discovery. He performs with the rock band Sky-Pony alongside his wife, Lauren Worsham.
