Biography
Kyle McCulloch is a Canadian writer and occasional actor and voice performer. Born on 11 November 1962 in Regina, Saskatchewan, he grew up in Winnipeg and is the son of retired CBC Radio announcer Tom McCulloch.
He began his career acting in films directed by Guy Maddin, including Archangel (1990), in which he played Lt. John Boles, as well as Tales from the Gimli Hospital and Careful. In 1990 he performed in his own play at the Winnipeg Fringe Festival. He is known for his work as a writer on South Park (from 1999), where he contributed to the show's Canadian culture themes and provided voices for various characters, and as a writer and story editor on SpongeBob SquarePants (seasons 4 and 9). He has also written for series including Lady Dynamite and China, IL, and created the online cartoon character Mr. Wong.
