Biography
Kym Karath is an American actress, born on 4 August 1958 in Los Angeles, California. She is best known for playing Gretl, the youngest of the von Trapp children, in the 1965 film The Sound of Music.
Karath began acting as a child, appearing in Spencer's Mountain (1963), The Thrill of It All (1963) and Good Neighbor Sam (1964). She later had roles in television series including Lost in Space (1965), Family Affair (1966), The Brady Bunch (1969) and The Waltons (1972). She graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in humanities and studied art history in Paris.
